Job summary

Encore is seeking a Sr. Technical Lead to bridge technical leadership and specialist roles. You will oversee AP/AV equipment setup, operation, and breakdown for events, while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and team development.

The role includes supervising technicians, mentoring staff, and coordinating with operations to optimize event delivery. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred and 2+ years in field work plus 2-3 years in customer service are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 2+ years of field experience in specialty area.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore’s training/certification requirements per internal resources.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots advanced AV equipment for events; pre/during/post event tasks.
• Delivers excellent customer service and maintains client relationships.
• Mentors and coaches staff to develop technical and leadership skills.
• Supervises technicians during events;
• Maintains equipment security, storage, and inventory; forecasts needs.
