Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to set up and operate audiovisual systems in hospitality venues. You will troubleshoot, ensure security, and maintain strong client relationships on site, reporting to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years in AV and hospitality, plus a valid driver’s license. The role demands physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, adaptability to hotel environments, and a commitment to Encore’s service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years in customer service or hospitality.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate company vehicles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and breakdown audiovisual equipment on site.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure security and safety measures are followed.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works properly and needs are met.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices.
