Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair high-voltage and low-voltage EV systems within luxury vehicles. You will train teammates, maintain precise repair documentation, and collaborate with engineers and advisors to deliver top-tier customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in EV diagnostics, ASE and EPA 609 certifications, strong communication skills, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Service Technician or Diagnosis Technician.
• ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4-ADAS) are required.
• Prior experience diagnosing and repairing High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems and EV powertrains.
• Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
• Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year; younger applicants require longer license tenure.

Responsibilities

• Confidently repair electro-mechanical issues and diagnostics.
• Train and assist Associate Service Technicians and Service Technicians with HV systems and EV powertrains.
• Maintain knowledge of HV, LV, and EV systems.
• Problem-solve technical and process-flow issues; SME in at least 1–2 repair categories.
• Follow repair order documentation procedures (Three C's).
• Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
• Communicate effectively with service team and customers.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to positive client experiences.
• Ability to work remotely and support mobile service team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
