Job summary

Lucid Motors in San Diego, CA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid vehicles. You will handle HV/LV systems, document repairs, and support the mobile service team while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Eligible candidates have EV/HEV diagnostic experience, EPA 609 certification, and a willingness to complete CPR training. A valid driver's license is required, and ASE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as automotive service technician; EV/HEV diagnosis
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains
• Customer-facing communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification; Lucid-provided CPR training post-hire

Responsibilities

• Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform electrical diagnosis
• Maintain HV/LV knowledge and document repair orders
• Document all customer vehicle interactions with the service software
• Collaborate with service team and customers; communicate effectively
• Teach and demonstrate technical skills to others as needed
• Support remote work and mobile service team as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
