Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair Lucid vehicles in a fast-paced setting in California. You will show a passion for sustainable transportation while solving complex issues and ensuring high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have experience with EV/HEV systems, HV knowledge, and strong communication skills. Eligible applicants may remotely support a mobile service team and must obtain or maintain ASE/CPR credentials as required.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience as automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains.
Customer facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
EPA 609 Certification.
Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire.
Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year; higher standards for drivers under 21.

Responsibilities

Confidently repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
Maintain a high knowledge level of HV, LV, and general EV systems.
Follow repair order documentation procedures (The Three C’s).
Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
Communicate and collaborate with the service team and customers.
Demonstrate and teach learned technical skills to others.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for positive client experiences.
Ability to work remotely and support mobile service team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
