Job summary

Rivian Automotive in Utah is seeking a Sales Advisor to build relationships with prospective customers and grow the Rivian community. You will own the customer relationship from qualifying leads in-store and at events to closing sales, delivering highly personalized experiences.

This role requires a track record in high-velocity sales, exceptional communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends and events.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in sales/retail/customer service at a premium brand (auto/EV a plus)
• Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, commission-based environment
• Startup-style experience with iteration and change
• CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Flexible schedule to support nights, weekends and/or holidays
• Willingness to travel for events and launches
• Microsoft Office familiarity
• Comfortable conducting demo drives with customers
• Able to work well in a team and independently
• Positive, upbeat attitude and valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain local sales licenses if applicable

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs (demo drives, pipeline, conversion, take rate)
• Ensure best-in-class customer experience aligned with Rivian values
• Qualify customers and tailor experiences to drive conversion and satisfaction
• Maintain deep product knowledge to guide customer decisions
• Build/manage a healthy sales pipeline with long-term relationships
• Support customers through order confirmations and follow-ups
• Host retail activations and events to generate demand
• Solicit feedback for continuous improvement
• Monitor EV market trends to address objections
• Share best practices with teammates
• Perform keyholder duties and daily recaps
• Provide direction/feedback to teammates
• Resolve escalations promptly and communicate outcomes
• Report business trends to leadership with opportunities
