Job summary

LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. expands its team in Troy, MI and is seeking a highly motivated and experienced, Sr. Program Manager to join our EV development group.

You will coordinate program timelines with cross-functional teams and be the main contact for OEM customers while aligning with our Korea headquarters. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of automotive program management, with strong knowledge of development processes, OEM requirements, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ Program Management experience with automotive customers.
• Understanding of automotive component development and manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of OEM processes and requirements.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office.
• Understanding of cost structures and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Create development timing plans and manage activities to launch programs.
• Coordinate release of EV component software and hardware to customers.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and LG Magna management.
• Support weekly customer meetings and track issues to timely resolution.
• Attend cross-functional meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain program status reports and monitor performance against milestones.
• Lead internal and customer meetings; participate in global team discussions.
• Assist engineering teams in resolving hardware and software issues.
• Identify new business opportunities and propose to customers.
• Report program status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Engage in VOC feedback and align with LG Magna leadership.
• Occasional domestic and international travel as required.
