Job summary

LG Magna e-Powertrain USA, Inc. in Troy, Michigan is expanding its team and seeking a highly motivated Sr. Program Manager to lead program development and timelines with cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate deliverables, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with OEM customers and our Korea HQ. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5+ years of program management in automotive, and strong knowledge of OEM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of program management experience in automotive with direct customer exposure.
• Strong understanding of OEM processes and costs.

Responsibilities

• Create development timing plan and manage activities to launch program.
• Coordinate to release electric vehicle component software & hardware to customer.
• Responsible for all development activities to launch program and be the main customer contact.
• Support weekly meetings with customers to share status and track issues.
• Coordinate meetings with customers or suppliers to discuss program details.
• Manage activities to ensure current program deliverables are met.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Program, Development, Validation, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Quality).
• Maintain Program Status Reports and use them to monitor performance.
• Lead internal and customer meetings and participate in global team discussions.
• Resolve hardware and software issues with engineering teams.
• Investigate new opportunities and propose to customers.
• Report program status to leadership.
• Listen to VOC and communicate with LG Magna teams.
