Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive automotive development programs in Michigan. You will coordinate software and hardware releases with customers, lead cross-functional teams, and report program status to leadership.

A strong background in automotive development, OEM processes, and cost understanding is essential. Join a team focused on delivering high-value EV components while collaborating with global LG-Magna partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
Minimum 5 years of Program Management experience with a customer in automotive.
Understanding of automotive component development and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with OEM processes and requirements.
Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office.
Understanding of cost structures.

Responsibilities

Create development timing plans and manage activities to launch the program successfully.
Coordinate release of electric vehicle components software and hardware to customers.
Lead all development activities and serve as primary contact with customers and LG-Magna.
Participate in weekly customer meetings to report progress and track issues.
Coordinate meetings with customers and suppliers to resolve program details.
Monitor progress against timelines with cross-functional teams.
