Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking a Parts Advisor to enhance the internal customer experience at our service locations in Washington. You will partner with technicians, advisors and management to ensure accurate parts ordering, efficient shipping, and smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a hands-on approach to problem solving. A high school diploma and 2–3 years in customer-facing roles are expected, with a willingness to learn Rivian systems and safety

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task in fast-paced environments.
• Customer-focused mindset with problem solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn Rivian processes and safety requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 85 lbs and perform workstation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and execute shipping and packaging of parts.
• Understand channel planning and indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in parts procurement; improve processes.
• Communicate with technicians and lead huddles for efficient care of customers.
• Identify correct parts for repairs and locate assemblies.
• Receive, bin and manage parts inventory; follow Rivian BIN scheme.
• Explain pay types and Rivian safety requirements.
• Support daily counts and learn Rivian maintenance scheduling.
• Provide exceptional service following Rivian Guiding Principles.
