Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a senior IT administrator to manage endpoint configurations across platforms, deploy software packages for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, and maintain the virtual desktop environment. You will document processes, patch devices, and collaborate with Global Service Desk to improve IT operations.

The role requires strong OS administration for Windows and macOS, scripting能力, and experience with VMware Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in IT, IS, or CS preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in IT field preferred.
• 5+ years in system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware, software, and driver issues.
• Scripting abilities in PowerShell, Batch, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Citrix.
• Expert OS administration for Windows.
• Expert OS administration for macOS.
• Experience with Agile Frameworks and Methodologies.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Proficiency with command-line interfaces.
• Experience with Enterprise Mobility Management tools (Intune, Workspace ONE, JAMF).
• Expert in packaging software for mass deployment.
• Experience creating/maintaining Active Directory Group Policy.
• Experience creating/managing vendor relationships.
• Automation via APIs or tools like Ansible and ServiceNow.
• VCP-DW or VCTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoint configurations and policies for all platforms.
• Create and maintain software deployment packages for Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS.
• Administer virtual desktop environment and supporting infrastructure, including maintenance, patching, and documentation.
• Create and maintain documentation for admins, Service Desk, and end users.
• Assist in patching enterprise end-user devices with OS and third-party updates.
• Evaluate and define hardware standards.
• Identify technical problems within EUC systems and resolve them.
• Work closely with IT teams to provide root cause analysis and resolve systemic end-user issues.
• Collaborate with Global Service Desk to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with management, coworkers, vendors, and customers.
• Provide support as needed; be part of on-call rotation.
• Work on projects and tasks as assigned.
