Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and secure our endpoint environment across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. You will deploy software packages, administer virtual desktop infrastructure, and create comprehensive documentation for admins and end users.

You will patch devices, define hardware standards, and work with cross‑functional IT teams to drive root cause analysis and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/IS/CS preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years experience in system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting end‑user hardware, software, and drivers.
• Adept at learning new skills and cutting‑edge technologies on the fly.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Batch, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with VMware Horizon/Azure Virtual Desktop/Citrix.
• Expert OS administration for Windows.
• Expert OS administration for macOS.
• Experience with Agile Frameworks.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Command-line proficiency.
• Experience with EMM tools like Intune/Workspace ONE/JAMF.
• Packaging software for mass deployment.
• Active Directory Group Policy management.
• Vendor relationship management.
• Automation via APIs (e.g., Ansible, ServiceNow).
• VCP-DW or VCTA preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoint configurations and policies for all platforms.
• Create and maintain software deployment packages for Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS.
• Administer virtual desktop environment and supporting infrastructure; maintenance and patching.
• Create documentation for admins, Service Desk, and end users.
• Assist in patching enterprise end‑user devices with OS and 3rd‑party updates.
• Evaluate and define hardware standards.
• Identify problems within EUC systems and resolve solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Work with Global Service Desk to drive process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with management, coworkers, vendors, and customers.
• Provide support as needed; participate in on‑call rotations.
• Work on projects and tasks as assigned.
