Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking an experienced IT professional to join the Internal IT team in supporting enterprise EUC, VDI, and endpoint management. You will deploy and maintain end-user compute, OS and app updates, and create robust documentation for the Service Desk and admins.

The role emphasizes VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, Intune, Workspace ONE, and AD/GP expertise with a focus on security and efficiency. Onsite work in MO/IL is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, or CS preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years in system administration and end-user compute environments.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and drivers.
• Strong scripting with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Proficient with VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and EM tooling.
• Experience with AD, Group Policy, and enterprise mobility management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot end-user compute configurations across platforms.
• Create and maintain software deployment packages for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS.
• Administer VDI environments and supporting infrastructure; patching and docs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for admins, Service Desk, and end users.
• Support patching of enterprise devices with OS and app updates.
• Collaborate with IT teams for root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and IT projects.
