Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support government programs. The role emphasizes design, deployment, hardening, and ongoing maintenance of Windows and Linux environments, with a strong focus on IaC using Ansible, Python, and JSON.

You'll work with VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX-T, and security controls for Navy/DoD missions. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, plus a Secret clearance and DoD experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• IAT Level II is required (e.g. Security+)
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, harden, and sustain Windows and Linux environments with STIG compliance.
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere, VCF, NSX-T components.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Ansible, Python, and JSON templates.
• Perform system provisioning, patching, and compliance enforcement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in classified environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
