Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks an experienced IT professional for its Internal IT team in a senior administrator role. You will manage endpoint configurations, deploy software, and support a robust virtual desktop environment across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.

You will patch enterprise devices, draft vital documentation, and coordinate with Global Service Desk to improve IT processes. A strong Windows/macOS admin background and Azure/AVD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/CS preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years experience in system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware, software, and driver issues.
• Adept at learning cutting-edge technologies on the fly.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Batch, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Environments (VMware Horizon, Azure VD, Citrix).
• Expert OS administration for Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Agile Frameworks and Azure Cloud.
• Experience with API integrations (Ansible, ServiceNow).
• VCP-DW or VCTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoint configurations and policies to meet security benchmarks.
• Create and maintain software deployment packages for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
• Administer virtual desktop environment and supporting infrastructure, including patching and documentation.
• Produce and maintain documentation for admins, Service Desk, and end users.
• Assist in patching enterprise devices with OS and app updates.
• Define hardware standards and resolve EUC issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams and Global Service Desk to improve processes.
