Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Estimator to support the Lead Estimators and Preconstruction Manager during the Launch phase. You will perform quantity take-offs, provide pricing for value engineering, and use BIM for take-off and visualization to back up complete estimates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management and at least 8 years of related experience, with strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar with 8+ years experience.
• Experience in project engineering, field supervision or purchasing.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Preconstruction leadership in estimating during the launch phase.
• Coordinate trade partner bid lists with procurement for pricing and bidding.
• Lead review meetings with owner, architect, and engineer for Preconstruction.
• Prepare variance analyses to explain price differences to stakeholders.
• Review design documents for completeness and request necessary information.
