Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned estimator in Shelton, CT to support preconstruction activities during the launch phase. The role emphasizes value engineering, budget controls, and accurate GMP-focused estimates with input from trade partners.

You will work closely with the Preconstruction Manager and stakeholders to develop complete, well-supported bids. Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, design document reviews, and coordination of bid inputs, with travel as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction estimation and GMP development.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and pricing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Preconstruction Manager in estimating during the preconstruction phase.
• Coordinate trade partner bid lists for budget pricing and bidding.
• Lead review meetings with owner, architect and engineer for the Preconstruction phase.
• Prepare comparison analyses and explain variances to project stakeholders.
• Utilize BIM for quantity take-off and visualization to support estimates.
