Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Lead Estimator in the Philadelphia area to support preconstruction efforts. The role focuses on value engineering, budget control, and creating competitive GMP estimates with BIM-based takeoffs.

You will collaborate with the preconstruction team, review design documents, and coordinate with owners and trade partners to ensure complete and well-supported estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead estimators in all estimating functions during the preconstruction launch.
• Coordinate trade partner bid lists with procurement for budget pricing and bidding.
• Lead/prep for estimate reviews with owner, architect and engineer.
• Prepare comparison analyses to explain variances in estimates.
• Utilize BIM for quantity take-off and visualization to support estimates.
• Ensure pricing is complete for GMP and bid documentation.
• Lead or support Lump Sum bid processes.
