Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to join its global project and cost management team in a dynamic, client-focused environment. You will develop and lead the overall estimate for complex projects, coordinating with the project team and leveraging local rate libraries to ensure competitive, accurate bids.

You will use tools like Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX, and you should be an exceptional communicator.

Qualifications

• Core & shell and mixed-use construction experience.
• Experience with estimating systems Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Chartered or on path to RICS, CEP or CPE (benefits available).
• Strong relationship-building with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis; advise on cost contingencies.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity per guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
