Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator in the Reno, NV area to lead the development of comprehensive project estimates. You will coordinate with the project team to shape the plan, use local rate libraries, and provide risk analysis with contingency recommendations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an estimator in construction with increasing scope and responsibility.
• Knowledge of CSA and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Accubid, Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Chartered status or on the path to complete RICS/CEP/CPE; support available.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis with contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity per guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
