Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an Estimator in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of CSA and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Accubid, Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to complete it.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations.
• Analyze and make recommendations on solutions to problems with varying complexity.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
