Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead electrical construction bid and estimate efforts. You will prepare detailed estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and clients to deliver accurate bids.

The role requires 4+ years of estimating experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with Accubid, Bluebeam, and CAD tools. Travel up to 10% is common; the organization emphasizes ownership and growth.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group work.
• Mentor and assist with the development of Estimators.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
• Communicate orally and in writing as required.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player.
• Interact professionally with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Review specifications and drawings; participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost savings.
• Lead discipline sub-estimates for assigned bids.
• Coordinate quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and ensure conformance with plans.
• Maintain bid documents and Rosendin-estimating program.
