Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid development for electrical construction projects. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and clients to ensure competitive bids.

The role requires a bachelor’s in construction management or related field, 4+ years in estimating, and proficiency with Estimating software (Accubid, Livecount Cloud, Bluebeam). Travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Estimate all project types with accurate quantities and costs.
• Mentor Estimators and coordinate with teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and related tools.
• Experience with Accubid, Livecount Cloud and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and bid documents from take-off data.
• Review drawings and specifications to determine scope.
• Lead and coordinate discipline sub-estimates for bids.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and evaluate responses.
• Maintain estimating records and data backups.
• Develop labor productivity estimates and installation costs.
• Draft proposal letters for bids and negotiated projects.
• Explain scope and pricing to project teams during turnover.
