Job summary

Rosendin is hiring a Senior Estimator to prepare and complete bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will lead the estimating team, review proposals, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to finalize estimates.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, 4+ years of estimating experience, and familiarity with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and/or engineering design drawings.
• Proficient in estimating and coordinating bid development.
• Experience mentoring Estimators and coordinating with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete the estimate.
• Review drawings and specs and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost savings.
• Lead discipline sub estimates and maintain backup documents.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors and ensure conformance with plans.
