Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator (CSA) in Dallas, TX to develop the estimate plan, coordinate with the project team, and lead the total project estimate.

You should have 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, proficient with Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX, and hold a construction-related degree. We value strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to build trusted client relationships. Interviews can be in person or virtual.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimator experience in construction with increasing scope.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• Degree or comparable construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on path to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
