Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator (CSA) to join our team in New York. You will develop the estimate plan, coordinate with the project team, and lead the creation of the total project estimate, including risk analysis and contingency recommendations.

A strong library of local rates and proven communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and a construction-related degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis.
• Analyze and recommend solutions to problems per objectives and guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for estimates.
