Job summary

Beazley is seeking a Claims Manager – Employment Practices Liability to independently manage end-to-end EPL claims across a diverse portfolio. You will assess severity, coverage, and financial loss, coordinating with brokers, insureds and underwriting partners to uphold Beazley’s Claims Service Standards.

You will maintain files, establish reserves, and develop strategies while adhering to Beazley’s authority protocols and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Legal training or EPL claims experience.
• Experience independently managing EPL claims end-to-end.
• Adjuster licenses may be required within 90 days of employment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.
• Knowledge of US and international insurance markets and claims management procedures.
• Competencies include decisiveness, client/broker management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of Employment Practices Liability claims.
• Handle claims from first notice of loss through resolution, assessing severity and financial loss.
• Evaluate policy coverage and draft coverage position letters for brokers and insureds.
• Manage mid-to-high severity claims including coverage considerations.
• Maintain timely and accurate claims records and reserves.
