Job summary

Beazley is seeking a Claims Manager for Employment Practices Liability to lead end-to-end EPL claims across a diverse portfolio. Based in Atlanta, you will assess coverage, determine strategy, and work with brokers, insureds, and underwriting partners.

The role requires 3+ years of EPL claims management, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate within Beazley’s claims standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• College degree. J.D. preferred but not required.
• Three or more years’ experience independently managing EPL claims.
• Adjuster license(s) may be required as part of your job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of Employment Practices Liability claims.
• Handle claims from first notice through resolution, assessing severity, complexity, and direct financial losses to determine level of involvement.
• Evaluate policy coverage, draft coverage position letters, and communicate determinations to brokers and insureds.
• Manage portfolio of medium to high severity claims including coverage litigation as appropriate.
• Maintain claims records, establish reserves, and ensure timely documentation.
• Communicate material claims to Reinsurance and Finance.
• Work with Reinsurance to effect recoveries and contribute to claims strategy development.
• Identify issues/trends, advise stakeholders, and drive process improvements.
