Beazley is seeking a Claims Manager for Employment Practices Liability to own end-to-end EPL claim handling. You will work with brokers, insureds, and underwriting partners to assess coverage, reserve appropriately, and drive litigation where needed.

The role emphasizes proactive claims management, adherence to Beazley’s standards, and collaboration with a diverse team to improve outcomes and profitability.

Qualifications

• College degree. J.D. preferred but not required.
• Three or more years’ experience independently managing EPL claims with proactive, end-to-end handling.
• Adjuster license(s) may be required and must be obtained within 90 days if required.

Responsabilités

• Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of Employment Practices Liability claims.
• Handle claims from first notice of loss through resolution with appropriate involvement.
• Evaluate coverage in line with underwriting intent and communicate determinations.
• Manage medium to high severity claims including potential coverage litigation as trained.
• Maintain timely claims records and develop strategies considering costs and outcomes.
• Work with Reinsurance to effect recoveries and ensure compliance with controls.
