Job summary

Beazley is seeking an experienced Claims Manager for Employment Practices Liability in Philadelphia. You will oversee the end-to-end EPL claims lifecycle, from first notice through resolution, coordinating with brokers, insureds, underwriters, and external partners.

The role requires handling medium to high severity EPL claims, evaluating coverage, reserving, and developing claims strategies while adhering to Beazley’s standards and risk policies.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills to assess liability, coverage and monetary impact of EPL claims.
• Strong client and broker management skills for insureds and intermediaries.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate coverage determinations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of EPL claims from notice through resolution.
• Evaluate policy coverage and draft coverage position letters.
• Maintain timely claims records and reserves in line with Beazley standards.
• Work with underwriters, brokers and insureds to share claims insights and ensure profitable outcomes.
• Coordinate with third parties and Reinsurance to optimize recoveries.
• Promote Beazley values and conduct risk policies in all interactions.
