Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to manage Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. You will apply advanced healthcare workflow knowledge to evaluate needs, recommend solutions, and improve system use.

You will configure, upgrade, test, and release software while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong Epic reporting experience and programming skills, with potential for leading smaller projects and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of experience with a degree.
• 7+ years of experience without a degree.
• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications required or preferred based on the specific position.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Evaluate business and clinical needs, recommend solutions, and improve system utilization and operational processes.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and provide guidance to less-experienced teammates.
