Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to manage Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. The role requires deep Epic workflow knowledge, certification, and strong data analytics capabilities to evaluate business needs and improve system utilization.

The candidate will perform build/configuration, upgrades and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 7+ years of Epic experience and proficiency with reporting tools are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
• 7+ years of relevant Epic experience without a degree.
• Epic certification or proficiency in one or more Epic applications is required or preferred.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools and modules is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform upgrades, configuration, testing, incident and change management, and release implementation.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and mentor junior staff.
