Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access domains. You will perform build/config, upgrades, workflow assessments, testing, incident and change management, and participate in software releases with limited supervision.

The role requires Epic certification or proficiency, 5+ years with a degree (7+ without), and strong skills in SQL, SSIS, R, Python, and Epic reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant Epic experience.
• Epic certification or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer).
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization and enhancement of Epic applications.
• Build/configure, upgrade, and implement software releases; perform testing and troubleshooting; manage incidents and changes.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and guide less-experienced team members.
