Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to oversee Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. The role requires advanced healthcare workflow knowledge to identify needs and implement improvements.

Responsibilities include build/configuration, upgrades, testing, incident/change management, and collaborative project work. Epic certification or proficiency is preferred, with market-competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer.
• Programming experience with SQL, SSIS, R, Python, or similar tools.
• Epic certification or proficiency in applicable Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization of Epic applications across clinical, revenue cycle, and access areas.
• Perform build/configuration, upgrades, testing, incident and change management and software release implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users; may lead smaller projects or components.
• Mentor less-experienced team members as needed.
