Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas. You will configure builds, manage upgrades, perform testing, and lead smaller projects while collaborating with end users and teams.

Ideal candidates have Epic certification and 7+ years of Epic reporting experience, plus programming skills (SQL/SSIS/R/Python). A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with competitive compensation and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more Epic applications is required or preferred depending on the role.
• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Proficiency in SQL/SSIS/R/Python or similar programming languages is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform build/configuration, upgrades, workflow assessments, testing, incident and change management, and software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users; may lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives.
