Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an experienced Senior IT Specialty Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas in Norfolk, VA. The role emphasizes advanced analytics, workflow improvement, and project leadership.

You will configure, upgrade, and test Epic systems, perform incident/change management, and guide teammates. Epic certification and 7+ years of experience are preferred, with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in one or more applicable Epic applications required or preferred based on the specific position.
• Epic data analytics tools are Required: Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model, Access Data Model, Revenue Data Model, Clinical Data Model.
• 7+ years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools including Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, and SlicerDicer.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and Access areas.
• Perform application build/configuration, upgrades, and releases; conduct workflow assessments and system testing.
• Handle incident and change management; implement software releases; mentor less-experienced team members as needed.
• Lead smaller projects or components of larger initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
