Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT/Clinical Analyst to design and implement solutions within the Epic platform and related systems. The role emphasizes strong requirements gathering, analytics, and collaboration with IT and clinical teams.

You will contribute to multiple projects, support training, and ensure data integrity while coordinating with vendors and users across a national remote-ready setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years in IT or clinical environment with working on moderate to complex business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation.
• Obtain within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements for EPIC certification(s) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops technical and/or non-technical solutions to moderate to complex business needs by gathering, compiling and reviewing information and data.
• Assists with conversion and operational support planning activities and tasks of multiple simultaneous projects. Manage training when applicable.
• Identifies how requirements and designs will affect multiple application areas (including Epic and all 3rd party applications) and recommends solutions for those areas to comply with strategic direction.
• Acts independently, fully understanding client business requirements, offers effective alternatives and works as an integration point to ensure multiple design teams are not in conflict.
• Communicates and interacts with business and technical teams on problems, changes, and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or functionality.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
