Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex transmission and substation initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners. Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule and budget, and providing executive-level updates on project status.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in engineering, 7–10 years of PM experience and PMP certification, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. High accountability and occasional extended hours during storms are expected.

Qualifications

• PMP certification or plan to obtain PMP within two years.
• Demonstrated leadership in a high-performance culture.
• Strong planning, cost control and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex transmission and substation projects to on-time delivery and on-budget.
• Interface with external customers and negotiate schedules and costs.
• Collaborate with managers to optimize resource use and communications with stakeholders.
• Communicate project status to sponsors and executives with clarity and accuracy.
• Coordinate contractor selection, change orders and payments.
