Job summary

AEP Service Corporation seeks a seasoned Project Manager Staff to lead highly complex programs in a matrix environment. You will organize, direct, and coordinate project activities, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and stakeholder alignment across internal and external teams.

Role requires demonstrated PM expertise, strong communication, and the ability to influence across engineering, procurement, and startup groups. On-site work in the utilities sector with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, major construction field experience, project estimating, project controls, and/or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert proficiency in Waterfall and Agile.
• Support and enforce AEP System Safety Process for a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, tools and staff; reallocate funding as needed.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders with detailed written and oral reports.
• Lead planning meetings and provide clear preparation for audiences; ensure stakeholder readiness.
