Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Associate’s degree in the same disciplines with twelve years of qualified experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with fourteen years of qualified experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert level of proficiency in all aspects.
• Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for the AEP System Safety Process, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm.
• Manage, develop, review and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff, and reallocate funding as needed.
• Effectively communicate project/outage details and status updates; lead planning meetings and stakeholder presentations.
• Develop and manage working relationships with project teams, staff, customers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Provide guidance and training to improve design, systems, processes, and costs; challenge others when needed.
• Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and demonstrate SME level performance on projects.
