AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Senior Project ManagerStaff to oversee complex projects and programs within a matrix team environment. The role emphasizes leadership, planning, execution, monitoring, and safe, economical delivery to satisfy customers.

You will coordinate with internal/external customers, suppliers, and regulators, guiding teams to align with organizational standards and project controls. Strong communication and risk management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field with 10+ years of experience.
• PMP certification required unless waived by senior leadership.
• Experience in utilities, nuclear power, and/or IT systems is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert level proficiency.
• Apply Waterfall and Agile project management techniques for the organization.
• Ensure safety through the AEP System Safety Process and Zero Harm focus.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, tools, and staff.
• Communicate project status and outages to stakeholders clearly and efficiently.
• Lead planning meetings and present detailed progress updates to audiences.
