Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our cross-business unit execution team. You will manage teams, budgets, and risks while driving efficiency and ensuring every project exceeds expectations.

In this role, you will collaborate with Sales and Tendering teams, define SOWs, support major pursuits, and lead reviews with customers. You will mentor Project Managers and drive continuous improvement across North America, traveling up to 25% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of demonstrated success in Program/Project Management within Large and Complex Projects, involving multiple business units, spanning multiple years, and managing complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Tendering Teams to support major pursuits and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Define Project Statements of Work (SOWs), develop proposals, create value propositions, and formulate execution strategies.
• Provide Operational Support to project teams, focusing on profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Emphasize risk management, planning, and claims to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Lead program and project reviews, including external business reviews with customers.
• Oversee a portfolio of customer projects with coaching and mentoring.
• Mentor Project Managers and provide direct interface on projects to boost team performance.
• Drive initiatives to improve profitability and order intake; align resources and tendering practices.
