Job summary

Schneider Electric in Houston is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to drive cross‑business unit execution, manage budgets, risks, and teams to deliver projects that meet or exceed expectations.

You will collaborate with Sales, Tendering, and Project teams across North America to shape opportunities, define SOWs, and guide complex programs with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. Advanced engineering degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of demonstrated success in Program/Project Management within Large and Complex Projects, involving multiple business units, spanning multiple years, and managing complex contracts.
• Active PMP certification required; PgMP desired.
• Proficient with planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
• Thorough understanding of project and program P&L financials.
• Strong leadership, team-building and delegation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customer focus.
• Ability to manage contracts with knowledge of contract law and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Tendering Teams to support major pursuits and align with strategic objectives.
• Define Project Statements of Work (SOWs) and formulate execution strategies meeting client needs.
• Provide Operational Support to project teams, focusing on profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Emphasize risk management, planning, and claims to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Lead and/or contribute to regular program and project reviews with customers.
• Oversee a portfolio of customer projects with coaching and mentorship.
