Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert, focusing on value engineering and QA/QC across utility-scale EPC projects. This role offers flexibility to be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

Qualified candidates should have 4-7 years of engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Responsibilities include managing design deliverables and coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with permitting requirements. A competitive compensation range of $112,656.00 to $135,188.00 is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly in a fast-paced EPC environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert for utility-scale EPC projects.
• Support permitting efforts by coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong organizational skills

Clear written and verbal communication

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working knowledge of Primavera P6

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred)
