Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an Engineer 3 to act as a technical Subject Matter Expert across utility-scale EPC projects. This position can be fully remote or at the Edison, NJ office. The ideal candidate has 4-7 years of progressive engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong organizational skills.

The role includes coordinating with diverse stakeholders, supporting permitting efforts, and providing QA/QC for engineering outputs. Competitive salary range is $112,656 to $135,188.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.) certification.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert for utility-scale EPC projects.
• Manage Owner and Consultant interfaces during projects.
• Support permitting efforts with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

Skills

Engineering experience in EPC

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Strong organizational skills

Clear communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar preferred)
