Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 who will act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focusing on value engineering, QA/QC, and technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or from the Edison, NJ office.

The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Electrical or Solar. The compensation range is $112,656.00 – $135,188.00, and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites or partner offices.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering, QA/QC, and technical judgment.
• Review EPC contract exhibits for value engineering opportunities.
• Support permitting efforts by coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
