Job summary

GHD in Seattle is looking for an Engineer to lead remediation projects in the Contamination Assessment & Remediation (CAR) group. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and deliver solutions for soil, groundwater, and surface water challenges.

The role requires 6–8+ years of related experience including 1–3+ years in project management, with strong MS Office skills and knowledge of MTCA remediation approaches. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 to 8+ years of related experience, including 1 to 3+ years of project management experience in a client-facing role.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
• Solid understanding of the Washington State DOE MTCA for site cleanups and remediation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage remediation projects within CAR for clients.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership, mentoring junior staff.
• Develop exploration plans and budgets; ensure compliance with HSE policies.
• Client relationship management and multi-project coordination in a consulting environment.
• Contribute to data analysis, reporting, and regulatory standard evaluations.
