GHD is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Southeast Environmental team. You will work with senior staff to develop your professional skills within the Contamination Assessment and Remediation group, contributing to municipal solid waste facilities and remediation projects.

The role offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office, allowing collaboration and practical field experience while balancing flexibility.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in the environmental industries.
• Prior SPCC/SPR, SPDES, and/or report preparation experience is desired but not required.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD is a benefit; advanced design experience is a plus.
• OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work as needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform field duties for municipal solid waste facilities and remediation sites.
• Conduct environmental sampling and monitoring following established procedures.
• Respond to environmental emergencies nationwide and assess field impacts.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, proposals, and budget estimates.
• Support design calculations for waste management facilities and remediation systems.
• Assist in permit applications/renewals related to operations and sites.
• Support Landfill Gas and biogas collection systems projects.
