Job summary

GHD in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Technical Director/Senior Project Manager to lead the Contaminated Assessment & Remediation (CAR) group. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in contaminated-site investigation and remediation.
• Professional designation or license (PE or PG) preferred.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Provide technical direction and project management while ensuring safety, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop regulatory strategies addressing clients’ compliance needs and site-specific challenges.
• Lead proposal development and contract negotiations for targeted pursuits.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and industry partners.
• Mentor environmental professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate people and resources to achieve defined outcomes.
