Job summary

GHD in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Engineer/Geologist to join our Contaminated Assessment Remediation (CAR) group as a Project Manager. You will lead environmental projects, manage scope, schedule and budget, and coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality technical work.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, cost estimates, QA/QC oversight, and presenting remedial options to stakeholders while driving projects toward regulatory closure.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in contaminated site investigations and remediation.
• Experience with regulatory strategies and client engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with QA/QC oversight.
• E‑Railsafe certification is preferred.
• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects, ensuring client communication, scope, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates; coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive projects to regulatory closure in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Present option‑based recommendations to support proactive consulting.
